- For Motorized Shutters 12V and 240V:
This assembly is designed for use in the non motor (idler) end of the 50 mm round aluminium axle.
Designed to fit comfortably into a 50 mm axle, the collapsible insert has the advantage of two press in wings offering a shoulder that determines the correct positioning during the normal assembly process. These wings can then be depressed allowing the insert to slide deeper into the axle and assisting with the removal of the axle from the shutter.
This is a significant advantage when carrying out service work or upgrading from manual controls to the OzRoll Drive System or Tubular motor.
- For Manual Strap winder Roller Shutters:
This assembly is designed also for use in the pulley end where a 50 mm round aluminium axle is used. It is designed to fit comfortably into a 50 mm axle. The pulley simply pushes onto the end of the insert (See Picture Above). It is advisable to fix at least 3 x 3.2 mm pop rivets to secure the insert into the axle.
